"My father's pride is in his hands, as was my grandfather's before him. In 1935, my grandpa and his brother started a cabinet shop.

That business was handed down to my father and then to my brother and myself. Our family legacy continues as Anderson Millwork in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I still show up there from time to time—usually with doughnuts—to fulfill a need to create something tangible with my hands as well as for the sake of staying in touch with a part of my soul.
